It’s here, GAME WEEK has finally arrived
Week 0 was cute. Everyone got the B1G pick right, we all got to stretch our legs a little, and the chaos meter flickered just enough to remind us football exists. But Week 1? This is where it actually starts. Oregon vs Boise. Real picks that people are absolutely going to regret later.
The Ducks finally get rolling, and the rest of the B1G slate could be way more interesting than it has any business being. Wisconsin vs Notre Dame is going to tell us a lot about both teams right out of the gate. UCLA vs Cal is Tosh’s first game as head coach, which already feels like it’s going to produce at least one meme. And don’t sleep on South Dakota State vs Northwestern — Chip Kelly as Northwestern’s OC is either going to be genius or complete chaos, and honestly I’m here for either outcome.
Also, friendly warning: there are three games on Thursday and three more on Friday. Don’t be that person who forgets to submit picks and then tries to blame the calendar, the vibes, or resident Sasquatch Geeni whispering bad advice in your ear. Get them in early. Week 1 is loaded, and the chaos meter is officially open for business.
